Frequently Asked Questions 

When is childcare available?
We provide childcare during regularly scheduled church services, as support for other ministries of the church, and for special occasions calendared through the church.

How early may I bring my child?
We begin receiving children 15 minutes before the event and keep them until the close of the event. We respectfully request that parents honor our volunteers and pick up their children no later than 15 minutes after the event.

Are parents required to work in preschool?
All of our Sunday morning teachers are volunteers and many of our Sunday and Wednesday evening operate with volunteers as well as paid childcare workers. We can always use volunteers! Parents, grandparents, and other adults are welcome to volunteer because it translates into better adult/child ratios and more effective ministry to preschoolers!

How do you keep my child safe?
Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to us! We have a secure check in/pick up where only the guardian with the proper security receipt will be allowed to pick up the child. We have at least 2 adults teaching in a classroom at all times - no one is alone with children. All adults who work with children have passed a background check and received training in working with young children as well as various emergency situations. SABC maintains a police presence during our scheduled activities involving children on campus. We continually research ways we can improve our security to keep our church family safe.

Baby Dedications
As Christian parents we desire to lead our children to know Jesus personally. Church members are encouraged to schedule a date for baby dedication. At the close of this worship service our church family will pray for you and partner with you in leading your child to know Christ. Please call the church office at 785-8596 to schedule your date.
